Are you ready to lose the weight for good?
I like this better “I am ready to release the weight!” When you use the word lose, we have a tendency of going on search to get back what we lost, not good for our health!
So what will it really take to release the weight for good?
1. Get out of the diet mentality and adopt a healthy eating plan.
The easiest eating plan has been a ketogenic diet because it is low carb and halts the sugar cravings. The high fat diet/eating template keeps you satiated and you can still enjoy food you love like steak, chicken, meat loaf, seafood chowder, eggs, sausage and bacon. Minimizing or avoid dairy for a few weeks is beneficial for many people adopting this lifestyle and consuming at least 5-7 cups of leafy greens and veggies.
Stay hydrated and drink half your weight in ounces is a good guideline.
2. Build your life and schedule around your eating and movement
Make time in your weekly schedule to meal prep. You have the time, which means you may have to cut down or eliminate scrolling through instagram, facebook, pinterest, youtube and Netflix binges.
Place a calendar on your refrigerator, have a copy at work, in your daily calendar and your daily journal.
3. Create new connections
We become the average of the 5 people we surround ourselves with. If you want to create more health, wealth and happiness, then it’s time to swap out some friends or at least spend more time with people who have the same goals as you. Facebook, meetups, conferences, wellness groups are great places to start and for some of you a new career or workplace.
Share your goals with new friends and have them keep you accountable and not tolerate your excuses.
